## Velocity

Velocity is Windows backup software for SQL Server databases (all editions, including SQL Server Express, which has no SQL Agent) and for files and folders. It schedules full, differential and incremental backups (daily, weekly, monthly or Nth weekday) through a Windows service, sends them to a local folder, FTP/FTPS or Google Drive, retries failed runs automatically, emails after each backup, and restores a database under a new date-stamped name if the name already exists. Licensed per computer, with a free trial.
